TASK02: DIGITAL DESIGN DEVELOPMENT (20% - Individual |Week 04 – Week 09)

Description

Designing for the first time can be a challenge, however, the more you explore the design techniques, understand the theory and practice to illustrate your idea on a piece of paper, you will find it very interesting, and perhaps very exciting steps before you turn your design collection into an actual physical garment. There are various methods and tools that you can use to produce a design, and in this second task, you will explore Digital Design Development.

In this stage, students shall be well versed in the designing process with a basic hand-drawn technique. Students will now challenge to demonstrate their ability to translate their sketch and design ideas to a Digital Format. A Digital Drawing can be achieved by using various design software. As a basic, you are required to use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to Illustrate your Design Ideas and communicate Design Concept through a Digital Moodboard.

Requirements

· Create 1 (One) Digital Moodboard to explain Design Concept

Artwork Size: A3

· Each student is required to produce 10 Digital Design Illustrations using Adobe Design Software (Illustrator & Photoshop)

For the 10 designs, I only use Adobe Illustrator throughout the process

Reflection

Throughout the process, I had no problem with using the software at all. Even though I had a few experiences using the software before, I definitely have learned a few other techniques and tools while doing it because I had spent so much time trying to complete every look. It really helps me to be better at it. I am pretty satisfied and happy with how everything comes together. :)
