Hey there! for the final project we were assigned to illustrate our three final looks that we did for the Patung Project. We also had to do a technical drawing for one look out of the three looks:

These are my dolls that I have to turn into an illustration:

Image Reference:

I start off by sketching and drawing the shapes of the image reference. The proportion of the croquis is a little bit off than what I intended to do as I measure the image reference wrong. But I kept working with what I already have here because the due date is getting closer.

This is what it looks like after Ive done coloring up 50% of the whole illustration. A you can see, I use different medias to do the illustrations such as colored pencils, markers and water color.

Lastly, this is the final result. I also added some leather fabric and tulle fabric which are the actual fabrics I used for the dolls to give different textures to the illustration. Adding the fabrics also emboss certain parts of the sketch like the corset, skirt, and tulle trims.

This is what the technical drawing looks like. I chose to do the flat drawing for the third look:

Reflection

When doing the assignment I was afraid that I'm not going to get it done nicely because I was haunted by the due date when working on this. When it was about time to add the final touch which is the tulle fabric, I felt some sort of release that I managed to do the whole thing. It's definitely not perfect, from my own eyes I definitely can spot some flaws here and there but I'm pretty satisfied with what I did here although the proportion is a bit off.
