TASK03: TEXTURE / DETAIL EXPLORATION: 

ADS CAMPAIGN(20%-Individual |Week 06–Week 09)

Description 

In this task, student is required to explore various fashion texture and details in rendering. Students required to choose one brand to illustrate their fashion ads campaign. From the observation on the fashion details and texture, student required to translate the accuracy and realism in fashion drawing. Using magazine as reference, student require to choose any model as the subject matter and starting to illustrate detail of the garment.

PROGRESS: Students are required to capture the working in progress, research, idea exploration in sketchbook and upload on Padlet.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Choose one image from magazine as subject matter 

•Illustrate detail and texture of garmentusing mix media technique

•One illustration to be produce in illustration board A2 size with framing

For the task, we were assigned to choose one image from any fashion campaign and I ended up bumping into the one particular picture of Kendall Jenner from Versace Spring 2021 Ad Campaign.

This is what we got when I just started painting it:

Then I keep enhancing the illustration to make the appearance look stronger.

This is what the final outcome looks like! as you can see, by looking at the texture of the illustration I bet you can tell that it was drawn and colored with colored pencils, watercolor, and markers.

Reflection

This is one of my favorite collections by Versace and also one of my favorite pictures of Kendall Jenner. So I was kind of excited to do the illustration. I just wish I was a bit patient when doing it so I could receive a maximum outcome.
