Project 1: Collage

1. PROJECT 1A: COLLAGE (10%)

For the first project, we were assigned to do a photo collage using images that we found in a magazine.

This is the magazine that I'm going to use:

I just choose and cut out any images and quotes that I want to use

After I got enough images and quotes, I start to arrange the images into 3 different compositions and here are all the 3 compositions' results:

2. PROJECT 1B: DIGITAL COLLAGE (10%)

For the 2nd project, we were assigned to do another 3 compositions but this time we have to use photoshop. The pictures that we have to use to create the composition are provided.

Reflection

That was such a fun project to work on. During the class, I learned about the golden ratio. I've heard of the composition so many times now but still didn't really understand about it so much. But during the class, Mr. Fauzi showed us some examples of photographs that people use the technique. I also try to implement the golden ratio in one of my compositions above but I still don't think I did it correctly but overall I really enjoyed doing this project. It was really fun and easy.
